At our June picnic, seven active members were recognized for their years of
"Loyal Membership,
Patient Mentorship & Magnificent Leadership"
Each of the seven ladies have been members for over 35 years, three have been members over 40 years.

In addition several affilates who still live in Charleston were recognized:  Mary Alice Elkins, Ardath Francke, Gloria Jones, Mary Ellen Moore, Jean O'Connor & Mary Ziebold

GCA has asked that every garden club in the country submit a needlepoint ornament to GCA Headquarters for use on their  trees and wreaths during the month of December when headquarters is decorated for the holidays.  This is a wonderful way for all GCA clubs to share in celebrating the holidays at Headquarters.  Below is a photo of the beautiful rhododendron ornamnet made by KGC member Susan Maier.
